" A colleague and I have known Kathy for about 18 months and decided to embark on a Life Coaching course with her as we have been searching unsuccessfully to start a new business.
Our original idea for a business failed as we were unable to get the premises we needed. Since then we have been fired up with the idea of running a business with no business idea! We realised we needed help and so we approached Kathy.
We are still at the beginning of our course with her but already she has focused our attention in the right direction. We are making investigations that will help us to pursue or eliminate the type of business we will eventually start. By encouraging us to set goals we have been spurred on to organise ourselves to make our decision within a set time so that we can begin the process of setting it up.
Kathy is extremely perceptive and has challenged and brought to light different aspects of our personalities which may affect our business. This has enabled us to recognise where our individual skills can be deployed as well as address our weaknesses.
As well as her guidance in helping us to achieve our goals, Kathy raised questions which required each of us to search our inner selves. By careful questioning, I found that I didn't know myself as well as I thought! It has been enlightening and exciting to find this out and led me to search some aspects of myself more closely. I have found that many ideas Kathy raised through her questioning have stayed with me long after the session was over and given me much food for thought.
